Principal’s Report
Hi Parents, Families and Community,
It’s hard to believe, but another year has come to an end. I just want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support of our wonderful school, wish you all the best for the holidays, and extend a warm welcome to you all again in 2022. Our community is a core part of who we are, and we deeply value all of your input and support.
Snug Jingles
A huge thank you to the School Association for hosting an incredible Snug Jingles last weekend. We had a massive turn out, the vibe was fantastic – a really wonderful way to close out the year. The event was only one of a number of amazing School Association events this year – the Trivia night and Winter Feast among them – raising a significant amount of money and bringing our community together. A massive thanks to them.
Reports and Classes for 2022
Reports go home today. This will provide you a snapshot of your child’s progress during the year. Students will also find out about next year’s classes. Please understand this is a laborious progress, and we spend considerable time trying to align a host of different factors to ensure that we provide the best learning opportunities for all.
Graduation Assembly
Next Tuesday, we say a formal goodbye to our Year 6’s at their graduation evening. It is always a bittersweet time – the Snug door closes, and the opportunities of high school and life beyond opens. We thank them for their significant contribution to our school. The following day, they have their Big Day Out too – surfing in Dodges Ferry.
Final Day
Our students’ final day is on Thursday, December 16.
Again, please be safe in the holidays. Rest up, enjoy time with families and frineds. We look forward to seeing you in the new year.
Kind Regards,
Blair Curtis
Principal
Kath’s Spot
Well it’s this time of year when our calenders are full and we seem to be trying to fit every last thing we can into every last minute. I wonder though if you stopped to ask “what is priceless to your family?” What do you think it would be?
Would it be time with the family to sit and chat, and spend time together that is really important? Or is it time in the kitchen cooking together that you really love? Or those snuggles at night time as you are putting everyone to bed that is always really special?
Whatever it is, make sure it is those things that you take time to do at this time when the calendar is trying to fill up. Don’t forget to stop in the moment and enjoy those special moments together. Maybe have the conversation with your children, ask them “what is priceless to you?”.
At this time of year may Joy, Hope and Peace surround you and your family.
Many Blessings

Information from our School Nurse, Joss
Hi everyone, please see below for a schedule of parent and carer education sessions organised by eSafety to support children being safe online. The webinar topics look fantastic and I think would be a great resource for parents and staff to support those safety conversations and considerations.
