Principal’s Report
Hi Snug Primary School Families and Community,
Well the year is coming to an end – and what a year it has been. I don’t think anyone will forget it in a hurry. But despite the challenges we’ve all faced this year, we’ve made it, and we are so grateful for the understanding and support you have provided as a community. You are greatly valued.
Thanks again to our amazing group of teachers, teachers assistants, office staff, and cleaners, groundsman and support staff – you have all done an outstanding job of enabling our students to grow and develop, and provide as much ‘normal’ as possible in spite of the global shifting sands.
To our graduating Year 6 students, and the families that will be moving on from Snug, thank you for being part of our community. We wish you all the very best for your futures.
I wish everyone a happy and relaxing holiday season, and hope you get to spend time with friends and family, and have the opportunity to truly unwind and relax.
And to all - take care, be safe. Looking forward to seeing you next year.
Kind Regards,
Blair Curtis

Kath’s Spot
Well what a year 2020 has been! I know lots of people that thought when July rolled around that they would be really happy to call 2020 quits and move on to 2021. But imagine all those wonderful moments that we would have missed out on!
Although this year has been taxing, both emotionally and physically we have made it through to the other end, together. I was recently walking around one of the classes and consciously noticed again an art section one class has had on its wall since the start of the year. Up in the top left hand corner a sign reads “We Soar Together” and all the students had made different birds with their names on it that were placed on the wall art. It reminded me that together we do soar.
We need each other, and the flight that we take, is not half as spectacular if we don’t have anyone along the way to enjoy it with.
So as we wrap up a year we will all not easily forget, I hope you can all reflect on the wonderful moments that have been made this year, and also the new and old friendships that have been created or restored. As you and your family has these next few weeks off, I hope it’s a fantastic time to enjoy spending those special moments together. The moments to really hear each other and set each other up for the awesome year that 2021 is going to be. See you all next year!

Class in Focus – Kinder A
Kinder A have been exploring the art techniques of Kandinsky. Kandinsky used lots of colour and shape in his work. The children painted circles then designed trees on which they placed their circles. We think the artworks we have produced look amazing!
